Whitney Lowe is the author of several books, including Functional Assessment in Massage Therapy and Orthopedic Massage: Theory and Technique, and researches and authors articles on pain and injury assessment techniques in national journals and in his quarterly newsletter, Orthopedic & Sports Massage Reviews. Whitney currently is a member of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Bodywork & Movement Therapies and the director of the Orthopedic Massage Education and Research Institute (OMERI) in Sisters, Oregon. He teaches orthopedic massage and assessment workshops nationally and internationally.
